Jones High School has a Medical Magnet where students can become an LPN (Licenses Practical Nurse). 

Important Dates for Applications for School Year 2026-2027: 

October 13, 2025 – Fall/Winter Application Opens

December 19, 2025 – Fall/Winter Application Closes

January 15, 2026 – Notification to Families of Lottery 1 Results

February 19, 2026 – Notification to Families of Lottery 2 Results

Every 2 Weeks Until August 24, 2026 – Additional Seat Offers Will Be Sent

April 1, 2026 – Spring/Summer Application Opens (9 am EST)

August 24, 2026 – Last Day Seat Offers will be sent. All waitlists are discontinued.

***Please note that only incoming Freshmen can now apply for the Medical Magnet. You must apply in the 8th grade to start the required coursework in the 9th grade.
