Jones High School has a Medical Magnet where students can become an LPN (Licenses Practical Nurse). 

Important Dates for Applications for School Year 2027-2028: 

October 13, 2026 – Fall/Winter Application Opens

October 17, 2026 – School Choice Expo- Lake Buena Vista High 9am-12:30pm

December 18, 2026 – Fall/Winter Application Closes

January 19, 2027 – Lottery 1

January 21, 2027 – Notification to Families of Lottery 1 Results

February 18, 2026 – Notification to Families of Lottery 2 Results

***Please note that only incoming Freshmen can now apply for the Medical Magnet. You must apply in the 8th grade to start the required coursework in the 9th grade.
